A Client from Los Angeles saw some pictures of beautiful furniture on our website. She wanted to buy it in Italy, but…
She wanted the furniture to be made according to her specific instructions: for the armchairs she had selected fabrics from the renown venetian factory Rubelli, and she wished to enhance their brilliance with especially fine trimmings. For additional comfort, the armchairs needed to be supplied with special-size cushions for lumbar support. The side table was beautiful, but the varnish golden shade had to be little more shiny. And the bedside tables needed to match an already existing bed…
The Client came to us with all her requirements, and thus begun the story of our first delivery of furniture to the US!
For the production of these pieces we selected Asnaghi Interiors, one of our partner factories in Lombardy.
Before producing the furniture we went over each detail with the client: we sent different samples of materials and finishes, agreed upon sizes and decorations. Once the furniture was ready, we conducted a quality inspection at the factory, and sent pictures to the client for approval. The last, but not least part of this work was carried out at our own warehouse: additional safety packaging, placing of cartons on pallets and in wooden boxes made of wood that is certified suitable for export to the US, handing of the goods to our carrier for air shipment to Los Angeles.
